How I Can Help You

ABOUT US:

During these unprecedented times, everyone has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We at Salt of the Sea Ministries hope and pray that everyone in your family is well. We, as Christians, trust in God for everything and we know that He has not forsaken us, but He is still on His throne and He has only good in store for us.

On the other hand, those around us who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ don't really know where to turn for answers. There is a great opportunity to share a message of hope and many are now more open to hear and accept this message. Share the hope of Jesus with your family, friends, and neighbors.

We are grateful for your continued support. May God bless you and keep you well during this time of shelter and opportunity.

Mission Statement:

Salt of the Sea Ministries, Inc is a non-profit organization that provides Christian missions assistance to local churches and missionaries throughout the Caribbean. We transport small short term mission teams via boat to large and small islands to assist with evangelistic meetings (preaching & singing), backyard Bible clubs, in home Bible studies, Bible distribution, disaster relief, food distribution, small construction support and landscaping, and minor medical support.

Our goal is to be Salt and Light for Jesus Christ to the nations of the Caribbean Sea.

  WE BELIEVE...

*  We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died and resurrected to pay the price of sin for every person in the whole world. We believe God calls every Christian to proclaim the Gospel and disciple others wherever we go and that God provides the means to do so.

*  We believe Jesus Christ, God the Son, died and resurrected to pay the price of sin for every person in the whole world. (John 1:11-12)

(I Corinthians 15:1-4)

* We believe God calls every Christian to take the Gospel and disciple others wherever we go. (Matthew 28:18-20)

God provides the means for Christians to go share the saving Grace of Christ to others through like-minded believers. (Matthew 10:5-10) (Luke 12:33) (Romans 12:17) (II Corinthians 8:2)

* We believe in the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is authoritative and infallible in the original writings.

*  We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

*  We believe that faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man.

*  We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and eternal life.

OUR GOALS:

We would like to share an exciting opportunity to take the Gospel and provide assistance to those in need. God has called us to go throughout the Caribbean with short term and long term mission teams to share the love of Jesus and provide various ways of assistance to local communities. Much work has been done with the people of The Bahamas for many years, providing assistance and basic services for them. Recently, the people of The Bahamas suffered a great catastrophe by Hurricane Dorian. They are in greater need than ever before.

Our goal is to provide physical and spiritual support to those we serve.

After hurricane Dorian, the needs are overwhelming, but nothing God’s power and grace can’t heal.

Listed below are a few opportunities for consideration:

* Rebuilding of homes, churches, as well as temporary and permanent shelters.

*     Distributing food, water, medical supplies, and hygiene kits.

*     Providing Bibles, spiritual encouragement, and counseling.

We hope to take trained teams with supplies to pre-determined locations throughout the Caribbean. We will be sharing the Gospel with everyone we meet.
